I’ve already mentioned the idea to a few people that this is actually fine. You just up the ante and preemptivly offer a preemptive pardon for anyone who will assassinate your enemies and detractors. it will take so much time to put forth an amendement that the work will be done with no reprisal considering presidential immunity. We’d get a change in record time and clean house at the same time. The quickest they could act is in a matter of months whereas your actions would be completed in a matter of days, not that I would Ever condone or encourage such actions of course.
