Being a human requires and so includes things like microbes, and, well, everything a human needs to be human. We are not just that specific bit of humany DNA floating in a void. We're a phenomenon. A balance of things. Which is precisely the point of a holistic view. So why keep imposing this distinction? Let's redefine it.
