A lot of the problems is due to the fact we allowed the network effect to be captured by centralized platforms, which subsequently keeps us hostage. Thats what i mean with the architecture being primary, and the incentives flowing out of that.
Just an example, of the long list of issues, is the fact that you need to install an app that requires full access to every part of your phone including a signature written in blood giving up the soul of your first born. Nobody WANTS to agree to those term, we just got ourselves into a position we HAVE to agree.
In a Nostr world, such an app would have a lot more issues getting traction, because you have countless alternatives that leave the soul of your first born alone.
