You're clueless. Mosques are commonly used by the regime as ammo depots and bases, sometimes even as places to detain protesters. I know because I experienced it all (in the 2022 protests).
and, it's not limited to mosques. Any venues or large spaces that can be reinforced with guards and blockades will be used. I'm not here to educate you on this or argue. I'm here to support the people who are literally being killed in the streets.
