Normie user here, the option to turn them off/on would be nice. I dont really even remember they exist. They don't really need to linger more than a week when you think about how fast everything moves.

30 days, with the option for longer. Thanks for adding the drafts section, I would always forget where I started making a draft note. Apparently by the number of drafts I had I either think about my posts too long or they don't post when tried. My draft list was huge and some of them I swear I sent....

90 days is plenty. Probably sometime between 1 and 4 weeks would be the more than most people need

🤔 90 days seems more than enough as default Imo amethyst image uploads should post at the end of a message not where the cursor happens to be. The image upload button should also become disabled when it's uploading, very easy to post multiple times.

Only save drafts when user explicitly chooses to do so. Never automatically or by default.

A month seems reasonable. Drafts are mostly left behind by accident, in my experience.

Please don't delete stuff without asking.

I would go with 30 days but warn the user that their drafts are being deleted soon
