No central point of failure,. That is the only 'win' that matters.

We may not "beat them" by most metrics. I have had a lot more success in the last year connecting with people on the Fediverse (host my own Pleroma server) than on nostr. I still really like the concept of nostr. I've come back and decided to be more active after an absence of many months.

Embrace minimalism, realize a lot of social media is just junk, and use your time to better yourself.. Pretty easy 🙂
