🚀 FRIDAY. BITCOIN BACK ABOVE $80K. 🟠
Bitcoin has punched through $80,000 a few times now and even touched $81K.
For a lot of people, that’s cause for celebration.
For those of us who aren’t selling anytime soon…
It’s slightly bittersweet. 😂
I was quite enjoying stacking in the $60Ks.
When you’re buying Bitcoin daily, weekly or monthly, higher prices mean one annoying thing:
Your fiat buys fewer sats.
But zoom out.
🌍 The world is waking up to Bitcoin.
And the crazy thing?
The overwhelming majority of people on this planet still don't own any.
Last weekend one of my neighbours came over and casually told me he'd bought Bitcoin.
He then asked me to double-check that he'd bought the actual Bitcoin on Coinbase amongst the absolute sea of shitcoins on there. 😂
He had. 🫡
But that conversation stuck with me.
When your normie neighbours start buying Bitcoin without you even prompting them…
that tells you something.
Bitcoin isn't some weird internet money for cypherpunks, nerds and OGs anymore.
The normies are coming.
The institutions are already here.
Governments are paying attention.
And there will still only ever be 21 million.
