Gm nostriches, happy Saturday, looking like another beautiful day outside, some more ladder based fun to be had, finally finished painting the house white to find “one more patch”, then some wood that needed attention and some more trees that needed trimming, compared to desk work, this is my happy place, but the body says “day of rest, day of rest”

“Pride parade” taking place in Nottingham today, honestly thought pride month was way back when…….. probably going to get in hot water for not donning my rainbow shirt and joining in. I’ve seen the look in those council office workers’ eyes, dancing on the back of a lorry. They are there because they have no choice, volunteer or face a visit from HR, that is not freedom of choice.
