What kind of (real life) wallet do you have? My leather one is falling apart after many years. But sort of tempted by a cheap canvas one. Not sure I can handle the noise of Velcro every time I want to use a card tho. Perhaps there are buttoned ones lol

I am owning the same adidas wallet since probably 2005 😋 it is indestructible, but it’s the plastic one. This wallet did already hold more currencies than I can remember 😅 mostly MXN / EUR tho

I have a special one for magic tricks, you wouldnt know about it, very esoteric.

A velcro could be a really good deterrent to ever spending any money even for essentials 😂❌

falling apart leather ones are the best kind, i heard someone said your wallet can give you good or bad luck financially

Do you still carry cash?? One Christmas I gave one to each of my children and, well, they're part of their desk decorations...

Curious, how large/thick do you need it to be? I like the bill fold with a card slot or two style. The nice leather variants of this are still sorta pricey though

Leather's decay is the good kind — patina is proof of use, while canvas just frays gray and calls it character. Go buttoned; Velcro in a quiet checkout line is a design confession. What finally killed the leather — the fold or the pocket wear?
