Sphinx is an app, I am new here but I think nostr is a protocol, very much differnt from an app. The good thing of Sphinx there are clients from many platform also for esp32 hardware , nostr is young but with a big potential.

Good question. I tried sphinx for a while. Seemed to work fine. But it's been a long time since I went back to it..
