I bet they have measurably less kidney disease. Idk, but I'd bet...
The Meditteranean diet is associated with a longer life expectancy. Better cardiovascular health, less inflammation, good for people with kidney disease. I found this info in an article:
"Lower CKD risk: Each 1-point increase in Mediterranean diet adherence reduced CKD (chronic kidney disease) risk by about 10%"
