The anti amber / pro Google stand is really strange from the Webmaster. It's trivial to use amber (it seems it's complicated implement and maintain though), but he doesn't see any value in a nsec which can explain his position. Hopefully Dark Wisp will continue to exist otherwise Amethyst Yakihonne and other power users client will do the job.

And to answer the main point obviously logging in with Google is way harder than doing it through amber. It's like saying Bitcoin is complicated to use when you litteraly have to enter 12 digits and more in your computer when you aim to pay by card online, with the additional risk of seing your priv...

Ahh didn't realize he didn't appreciate the revolution of the nsec. It did seem a huge thing to throw away right back into the hands of third party control over identity. I'm still waiting for an amethyst web client so I can log into amethyst from inside of amethyst.
