We finally bit the bullet and bought a Berkey water filter. Apparently I'm not smart enough to work it though. It is agonizingly slow. Where it won't even filter a full tank in days.

I have done all the recommended steps: primed filters, filled tank completely, washed with scotch brite pad and even soaked in clean water. Nothing is working. Any help is appreciated.

All of our candles have been white. Try replacing the candles. Ours filters eight litres in a couple of hours.

Wife says potentially the issue could be priming the filters, by having water above the filter. 🀞 Good luck

it's gotta be that maybe you didnt prime the filters properly. I'd just do that again.

I’ve had similar issues, usually a matter of scrubbing the filer with a scouring pad. I have had to do it multiple times to get it working but should drain a full tank in 2-3 hours.

How did you print? I would force under utility sink and let it pressure through. You can see air bubbles leaving it.

I don't know man, mine is slightly different. I have 4 ceramic (cream coloured) candles on top & don't have the fine secondary filters underneath. I'm running rainwater through it & have no need to remove fluoride. Those really fine filters slow things down a lot & IMO are unnecessary for rain/well ...

i’ve had my berkeley for 5 years and never ran into this issue. a slow drip is common sign hen the filters need to be cleaned but yours is new. i would reassemble it for starters
