I've concluded Ive developed an addiction for saving animals off the street. This is the 3rd stray cat Ive found in the past few years that I managed to take home without any resistance (I try to avoid stressing animals out and give them a chance to get away if they show the desire). Vet said she's not chipped but they were too booked to check her beyond that so I'm waiting for the local humane society to open so I can call and see how they can help. She's a sweetheart so I might have to keep her, but I want to make sure she doesn't have any illnesses she could pass on to my cat before I introduce them. Fingers crossed things all work out and I can afford to get her the care she needs!
