in probably 15-20 yrs, instead of the biggest divisions being politics or even religion, there may really be just two camps: those who want to enhance and redesign the human body and those who want to...

This disturbs me. When do we stop being human? We are all kind of first gen cyborgs-constantly connected to a phone. Lots of people probably spend just minutes of their waking day separated from it. Then come actual body modifications (eye color, hair color, pretty face). Then enhancements. Then youre having to explain to your children why they cant play sports because you (unlike your peers) decided not to pick the heavily muscled 6ft+ genetic makeup of your unborn child. You are having to explain to them why they are not doing well on tests or are uneoloyable because you opted out of the internet connected brain chip. Your friends picked their kids out of a magazine, and you chose nature.
Perhaps it will console them that they have retained the possibility of going to heaven in the afterlife; the only requirement is that you are a human created by God.
Or maybe you don't believe in God and therefore make that choice for them...and later they decide that they do...
Its a brave new world ahead of us.

Hopefully (and likely) the AI takeover will arrive first and kill us all before this bullshit dystopia.

My guess is that the "designer kids" industry will be scammier than the diet pills industry. Remains to be seen whether cope and sunk-cost-fallacy will protect the principals against class-action suits and the industry against ignominy.
