Is anyone out there hand grinding their coffee? My coffee grinder died this morning and I’m looking for ways to eliminate failure from my coffee chain. Recommendations wanted!

My recommendation is to not bother with hand grinding your coffee 🫶 Slow, loud, tedious, not as romantic as you think it is. Rather elevate your coffee beans pulverization game and look for coffee bean crushers

I have a Timemore Chestnut C2 and it's solid. Had it 2 years now with no issues.

I am not currently, but before my next 2lb bag of grounds is through, I want to. The simplicity of the Mason Jar mounted hand grinder appeals to me.

I use two river stones warmed by the first sunlight of dawn to hand grind my beans one at a time while I sun my taint 🄰

I like Baratza grinders. They are durable, and repair parts are readily available, or they'll repair it for you if it breaks. Mine is 15 yrs old and works like a champ.

A Hand grinder goes well with the aero press coffee maker.

Hand grinding is primal, I love it. Eliminates plastic and electric waste.

Hario makes a nice hand grinder for $40 that has legit ceramic conical burrs so you can get a precise grind size. https://www.stumptowncoffee.com/products/hario-mini-slim-plus-hand-grinder

If there's time and resources available, I hand-grind my coffee on the thighs of virgins. If not, I have a couple of older versions of this: https://www.orphanespresso.com/oe-lido-basic-manual-coffee-grinder.html They're older than our kid. Steel conical burrs, replacement/repair parts available, ...
