My zaps were busted for a while. I had to go through and delete the wallet connection and redo it. Mine was broke for everyone though, I could receive, but not send... different from what you're experiencing it sounds like

Zaps fail on the receiver's side, not yours. If only some npubs fail, their wallets are the bottleneck: an offline node or lapsed NWC connection can't return an invoice, so your zap errors out. Quick test: if the failure happens before you confirm payment, it's their invoice. After, it's routing.
