In 2022 I helped take over my county Republican party with a group of MAGA boomers.
My goal was to gain credibility and then advance freedom at the very local level.
I sacrificed countless hours building up the local party. I was the tech guy, the campaign finance guy, the Roberts rules guy, the data guy, I wrote the bylaws.
The fellow members thought that I was brilliant. They said they respected me.
Then I came with data and demonstrated beyond a shadow of a doubt that all of our efforts should be put towards advancing liberty at the local level.
They quibbled, they quarreled, they couldn't understand why on earth I would suggest such a thing. We need to raise money for Mike Rogers they said.
They threw me a bone and offered to pass a resolution that affirmed that local politics was "important".
Boomers are destroying this country and they're too stupid to know it.
