Yet, if you want to create something like discord, it will have to be server based...because Discord is server based, and you will have a terrible terrible time recreating such a thing in a distributed manner.

And here is what....it is still decentralized, in the sense that all those servers are not owned by a single company that controll the proprietary software that is being used.

You 'can' migrate a group to another relay, but you are missing the point here entirely in the first place, and that is that you want to have your cake and eat it, and we kind of just want to eat some cake already....
