Globe depends on space. When you realize space is fake and all that exists physically is the earth under us and the firmament separating the waters, it makes God super obvious and Genesis becomes literal, not just metaphorical. 🔥

You can check the shape yourself. Watch a ship sail away and it disappears hull first, with the mast the last thing to sink below the horizon. On a flat plane the whole ship would just shrink and stay in view, but no telescope brings the hull back once the curve hides it.
