I believe it's selected randomly. You may be able to pick which one is disabling the LSP and manually selecting your routing hints, but not 100% on that.

As a general user I would prefer a larger flag that I was opening a channel and be able to accept or deny to try again from my channel.
When trying to move ecash into a channel you often have to create multiple lightning invoices because you never know what the mint fees are and you have to work your way down until one will have sufficient balance to clear.
So I had made a few invoices in a row to try and get one to work which I then overlooked the lsp fee on the one that worked. No big deal, learned my lesson.
