We've hired 2 quality assurance engineers who are now working on testing pull requests and releases for our apps to far more catch issues prior to our Alpha channel releases. They'll also be helping with OS testing. It should help improve the quality of #GrapheneOS even further.
We recently hired 4 experienced Android app developers to overhaul or replace each app included in GrapheneOS. The most recent hire starts at the end of this month. We shipped the Messaging app overhaul which is already far more usable, robust and secure but will get much better.
We're working on a bug fix release for the Camera app fixing many issues which have been around for years. Both Camera and Contacts also have experimental overhauls well under way. Gallery has a replacement in progress based on a fork of another app which we'll be changing a lot.
