I'm saying this for years, talking publicly with presentations and everything: everybody trusts that somebody else has independently checked the code. Remember when Proton announced their Bitcoin wallet and everybody was surprised Pikachu? The had the code public for over three months at that point but why would anyone have a look.

If the bitcoiners need anything, it's no another hard or software wallet, black hoddies with Orang and white labels or conferences but a foundation that just looks at the code. Even the ethereum guys have had their Peckchield and Hacken, though that was another layer of the scamonion. Will anybody please think of the kids, I mean THE CODE?
