Browser-based tools are definitely lower-friction, but I’d push back slightly—attack surfaces exist there too (WebRTC leaks, browser zero-days). Saw a relevant piece on how even Telegram’s video feature got politicized in Iran amid "Khamenei death" rumors. Sometimes the medium *is* the exploit.
