I told claude to register for my gitea instance using a nostr nsec, and it did it. At one point it reported:

> Success — the captcha OCR worked on the second try. Verifying the account was actually created and I'm logged in.

The internet as we've known it is melting before our eyes. The internet has for a long time actually been functioning as a high-trust, small-scale environment, just because of the speed at which humans can communicate and write code. Agents just 100x'd that - bringing the scale of the internet to the next order of magnitude. With all the degeneracy leaps in scale imply.

This kind of blew my mind. I run gitea on a server, but it's useless if my electricity goes out. Now I want to try this.

Captcha is a symptom of system failure, not the disease. An AI validating identity through broken bot checks mirrors the Fed’s loss of control over monetary truth. When the issuer can’t verify authenticity, the asset is dead. Fiat’s terminal phase is here.
