Out of the last four Bitcoin conferences (2023-2026), this year had the most Nostr content and signal by far, even more than 2025 when we had the Nostr lounge/booth.

In 2026 we had talks on the Open Source Stage, the Freedom Go Up Stage, the Genesis Stage, and the Workshop Stage. We had a conference-wide photo feed powered by Nostr. We were zapping speakers live on the Open Source Stage. Huge!

We had content on free speech, AI agents, vibe coding, decentralized identity, protocol vs platform, and the freedom tech stack. Nostr was woven into Bitcoin 2026 and it felt great.

I want to personally thank @The Bitcoin Conference team for making this happen, and especially @Francis_Mars and @Pedro 🧨 and everyone at @HRF. Thank you all.

After what I read, I know this is not an event for me. Seems like the event is to kiss the ring. But I'm happy there are some good parts to it too.

We didn't need Bitcoin until governments FAFO'd with the gold standard. NOSTR wouldn't need to exist if billionaires and governments didn't FAFO with the Internet and social media.

Glad you guys were there.... But that's too close to too many Regime Enforcers for my comfort.
