It's important to be very pragmatic about exactly how much power running a node actually gives you.
So you don't have to trust anybody else to tell you what the change state is. Okay, that's great
But can you prevent the rest of the network from forking off and doing tail emission or whatever? No, you can't.

So you're asking exactly the right questions I think.
Maybe the new fork does something differently and it's more decentralized. Currently it just seems like you've traded miner centralization for "What Luke feels like is a good idea "

Hard to see that as an improvement, but we'll see how it goes.

i didn't like the way core worked, they make change, then say ACK NACK etc... feels like politics then a software project. politics prevents fights, makes people vote, makes them feel like they have power. core is a software we should have had multiple software. i think chain history is also impo...
