I need help with what to help affected people with.

My best guess at a solid strategy from here is:

1. Verify your seed phrase backup

2. Upgrade your cold card firmware

3. Generate new seed using the same coldcard and include dice rolls this time

4. Make test transaction from old seed to new seed

5. If 4. Is succesful, make transaction for the rest of your sats to the new seed

6. Order new hardware (3 different solid vendors) without doxxing your name, address or credit card

7. Setup multi-sig with the three new hardware wallets

8. Move funds to new multi sig setup

9. Obviously, Coinkite products are not part of the new setup.


This is my best guess right now, because a single sig sat holder who uses coldcard today probably does so because its the only hw they have available, arguably making it (ironically) the most secure emergency move today.

Please add insight if this strategy has flaws.
