It looks like it, but your flowers don't seem to have the red stringy bits (the saffron) 🤷‍♀️

Saffron is always fall blooming as far as I know.

Same family but its different plant. You can grow it in Europe though its easy to buy the bulbs but I haven't had much luck with it. The areas were possibly too shady and other places it got outcompeted. There is a place in England called Saffron Waldon because they used to grow it there.
