Spent most of the day researching and inspecting a 1972 reel to reel machine and I want today‘s electronics devices to be just as serviceable as they were back then. #RightToRepair

It mostly still works, too. One of the reel motors is a bit stuck (might just need some lubricant) and the belts need replaced. There’s probably going to be a video sometime.
