Totally fair, and I actually agree there probably shouldn’t be one epicenter of Nostr development. PlebLab is just one physical hackerspace in Austin where we’ve spent a lot of time trying to give founders, builders, creators a place to meet, learn, and build together.
My point is less that Nostr needs a central hub and more that decentralized ecosystems still need local hubs and people willing to do the unglamorous community work. Growing in many directions at once is probably exactly how it should happen, but that doesn’t mean the people building those little pockets of community shouldn’t support and amplify each other.
