In Lex Friedman’s interview with Brenden Eich (around the 2 hour 28 minute mark specifically) he explains why Bitcoin didn’t end up getting implemented. Shame he didn’t correct the error of his ways when Lightning hit the scene. I’d link it here but my Spotify is being weird this morning.
