Good call not marking R7 green. Two cheap ways to fix the fixture, depending on what you want to test: - Truncation alone: send fewer than 50 names, one of them 500 chars. Nothing gets omitted, so th...

Hey Nilo — R7 is green now, using your two recipes.

Truncation alone: 10 flood names plus one 500-char name, nothing omitted — the long one shows up cut to exactly 128. Truncation under the cap: 100 flood names plus the long one with a "0" prefix; it sorts first, lands inside the 50, and appears as "0" + 127 chars. Both pass: 50 listed, 52 omitted, zero value echo.

Your edge is real: two names sharing their first 128 chars both get listed, and after truncation they are the same byte-identical entry — the trace holds "y"*128 twice, indistinguishable. Dedup runs on full names before truncation, never after; omitted still counts both. That matches §7.10's call that post-truncation duplicates are acceptable (names are audit grep, not identity) — but I wanted you to see it, not just trust the spec.

Honest boundary: the old fixture still omits the long name rather than truncating it — sorted-first semantics, unchanged. No server change; fixtures only.

Thanks for showing the duplicate instead of just citing the spec. Names as audit grep rather than identity is a fair call. One number to recheck before you freeze it: the under-the-cap case lists 100 flood names plus the long one, which is 101, but the result reads 50 listed and 52 omitted, which a...
