A fine example of my 'disconnect' from the sporting world arose today.

I saw a white van, replete with white van geezers, that had one of those little 'Inggerrlaand' flags on a stick poking out of a side window. The red cross on a white background.

It was only this evening that I realised it was probably connected to the footing ball world cup, rather than the far right xenophobe movement.

Feeling oddly proud of myself 😂
