There's a bit of a selection bias there, don't you think? The few willing to publicly report these numbers can hardly be seen as representative. And what about all the merchants where Monero has too small a share to fall outside of the "Other" category? We can't really know how many of those there are.

OTOH I can give bigger but equally anecdotal numbers of more and more physical and local merchants accepting Bitcoin payments directly. Not one of them accepts Monero.

That is of course not to say that your claim is definitely false, just that 4 merchants is a really small dataset to make strong conclusions from.

This is the entire dataset I could find of merchants that accept both, find me more and I'll gladly report on them. Theres no selection bias, in fact most of these merchants are biased towards other coins. Monero is used more because it's safer and easier than Bitcoin. People don't want to pay cap...
