My final opinion is that users will find problems even when there aren’t any. I once had a lady ask me what to do after she had just read aloud that she needed to press the single option button in front of her, lol.

But people who aren’t tech-savvy can also highlight how some of the tools we use seem particularly tailored for gamers and people who grew up on the internet. Watching my parents struggle with apps always shows me how many things we think are normal are actually confusing or poorly designed.

I remember helping my (very tech illiterate) dad with something once, we spent 30 minutes on the smallest thing. It says I have to enter an email, my email? What's my email? Why do they need my email? Can't I give them yours? What if I forgot my email? Its asking me for my password, should I put it...
