I am curious.. have you tried Zulip? It's basically Slack but with threads instead of unsearchable topic-changing conversations under the same hashtag. Zulip is ugly as hell but it *feels* better than slack.

There are days I’d much prefer to work out of Discord than Slack.

But custom emojis are still fun

The worst…and throw in that nobody uses just slack so you need Teams (Cisco or MSFT) too. #TechGore
