The goal of the blog post was to discuss the broad changes that are coming to 5.0 and where the team wants to go in 5.1 and beyond. It was not whether the border radius would be 5 or 11 pixels. Of all the things discussed in that post, was the border radius your biggest concern?

Well, yes. I don't have strong opinions on the new composer - it's cool and maybe better. But the overly rounded corners are my preexisting grudge with recent UI design and they stood out like a sore thumb.
