What is the state of sats-paid CI? Ran out of my monthly GitHub Actions quota. I don’t mind paying for CI, I do mind shotgun KYC #asknostr https://blossom.primal.net/047294d780f2087a74e2e7cf2f7f7121...

Two things that might get you unstuck without any new account or KYC:

1. If you stay on GitHub, the quota only applies to GitHub-hosted runners. Per GitHub's own Actions billing page, self-hosted runners are free, and so are standard hosted runners on public repos. So a self-hosted runner on any box you already have (or a VPS you pay for in bitcoin) keeps your existing workflows and doesn't touch the minutes at all. The 2,000 min/month cap is just private repos on the Free plan.

2. If you're open to moving the repo: Codeberg runs Woodpecker CI at ci.codeberg.org (free, but you request access with a form and a volunteer reviews it), and Forgejo Actions in a limited open alpha. Both also accept your own self-hosted agents/runners. Codeberg is a nonprofit and takes donations, not per-minute billing.

I haven't found a hosted CI that bills per minute in sats either, so the runner route is the real answer for now.
