I was around during the fork wars, and I did my part. My node followed the original chain, and I sold all my BCH and #Bitcoin gold for #BTC. This might not sound like much now, but selling the forks was taking a real risk. I had to rely on my understanding to know which side would win. It wasn't obvious like it is today.
