i'm okay, it seems to have gone well.
i am staying overnight in a special cpap room with about three other people in it.
been in a foul mood because i wasn't allowed to have my t gel this morning. finally got approved to have it about an hour ago.
there was dietary confusion and they tried to bring me a fish meal again, just like at hysto.
instead of compression socks, they put these self inflating sleeves on my legs. detestable. they took them off so i could go to the bathroom and eat and i am hoping they forget to put them back on.
i haven't been able to sleep because i can't have my cpap until i test negative for covid as it is considered an aerosol risk to others and they forgot to label the swab they did this morning. they said it could take hours to get the results of the redo. every time i nod off, i wake myself up.
my partner was allowed to visit which he wasn't allowed at the hysto. and i am the only one in this room who gets to have windows. there is a view of a 100 year old industrial brick building and now the sunset.
they are trying to get pronouns right but it feels a bit performative gymnastics because i am worried about other things.
the surgeon had to find an object three centimetres in diameter for my nipple request. i hope that she was able to do that. everyone is nice but the surgeon has no sense of humour
they are making an effort to mask near me but they are shitty masks, surprising no one
