Was trying to onblars a few users to nostr yesterday and man does creating a new account from the web suck.

Primal wouldnt even let me create an account without an app.

Coracle let me create keys but then gave me 10 more steps i had to skip ans finally got stuck in ome of the steps.

Fimally i had to use tje keys from coracle to login to yakihonne.

Nostr is just key generation, it should be so frictionless, why are we shooting ourselves in the foot here?

The devs of both of those clients are, IMO, truly horrifically incompetent. Use one of the jumbles. I am partial to jumble.imwald.eu, but that's got so much going on it might overwhelm a newb. Regular jumble doesn't suck.

i had a very similar experience this past week trying to help a friend. we were on Alby browser extention and it took us 30mins to find where the key generation was for nostr. ends up it is burried like under three layers of hamburger buttons.

I've been using Coracle lately and it's working great. Given there so many different apps available to generate npub/nsec pairs, it is just easy to over look it.
