The Bible is nothing but a bunch of crazy ramblings by Bronze Age goat herders. If you've managed to better yourself, that's great, but you've done it in spite of the Bible, not because of it.
Even if you reject the claims of the bible: If you had actually studied it you would have recognized, that it's literary composition is far more complex than 99% of anything written in the past few centuries.
