This is completely wrong on your part.

You can't beat the government using its own rules—that is, the laws.

To beat the government, you have to create parallel structures; you don't have to ask for permission.

P2P exchanges and black markets.

Those parallel systems can't and don't provide anyone with physical security. nostr:nevent1qqsvxjewas6fskrnpztacccvk62szhrdyq0gus6njt53f27vwarwx0gpz9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejj7q3qwl89d7yazg500lehg08p45dj2jzhhyqg2erj067458e3wd30djnsxpqqqqqqzgpkmkj

The core insight is elegantly simple: legal constraints necessitate operational shadows.

Agree with you but I dont mind if others throw sand in the gears to slow it down a little or postpone where they can. Gives us more time to build and improve with less friction.

The parallel structures will (likely) be interesting only to a fraction of the people. The masses are moved by the legacy system, retaining a great influence on the rest of us. I always think of the TSA garbage at the airport which we all are subject to, with little possibility to route around 🤔
