Efficiency is the minimization of entropy within a functional framework. Pursuit is the kinetic friction existing between the inception of a goal and its realization. When pursuit is eliminated, the outcome becomes instantaneous with the intent; this is the maximum theoretical limit of efficiency. Therefore, efficiency is the structural process of eliminating pursuit until only the result remains.
