monero, zcash (sometimes?), and liquid rely on cryptograpic proofs that hide the amounts to basically say "no more coins were created here than put in". But since no one can verify the amounts itself...

Inflation isn't created on Monero because of they cryptografy.

and even if they were created, once detected, the network itself would block these coins.

If no one has yet complained that they received it and then the coin disappeared, then there was no fraud.

If coins were created on the monero network, their market value would start to drop drastically and this never happened.

Supply and demand would reveal coin creations.

neither have I claimed monero exerienced such a bug, maybe you should read again what I wrote. And your assumption is wrong, inflation means new coins are created, not that existing ones are stolen. Also, it would be hard to detect inflation on monero, because amounts are hidden. So the network ca...
