He should be fine, don't panic. Sui is RIGHT and you should watch then and shouldn't let this happen again, but to put your mind at ease I had a dog steal a half a pizza once and that ornery bitch was fine. Dogs are also sensitive to garlic and onion, which is the main concern here.
