I think, the cause of the "curse" of Linus Sebastian explains his misfortunes with Linux may be that he's trying to LARP his fantasy of a "layman who doesn't know anything about computers" - asking ChatGPT and all that, while Elijah and Like were just being their normal selves.

I mean, I've seen a lot of tech-illiterate laymen, and generally, if they want to make a big shift in how they're using their technology, they're far more likely to ask their little cousin Timmy to work it out for them, instead of relying on ChatGPT or something of a kind for that.
