I fully agree, but I also dont see how BIP110 isnt doomed to fail due to them not waiting a bit longer to potentially reach enough consensus to combat non-signaling miners Theoretically I fully suppor...

Things are crystal clear.

Miners have 0 incentive to split the chain and cause chaos and damage to themselves. BIP-110 is reasonable, its good, its great. They flip the bit and everythings goes smooth as butter. Miners have all the incentives to just flip the bit.

If miners split the chain and ignore BIP-110, this would mean that they control Bitcoin and more probably someone made them do it. This won't be Bitcoin any more. It would be suitcoin of the central banks. In that scenario it will be best to fire the miners.

Miners dont control the network, but I dont think there are nearly enough signaling nodes to influence miners to comply. I think itll fail, but I dont think thatll be the end of bitcoin. Just a sign that this was too rushed and careless

No, it will still be bitcoin. No one cares about bitcoin cash. They were saying they were the OG #bitcoin now. Dont be delusional. Everything will still go on the btc network just like it has been since 2008
