I still walk among the living carrying ECAI.

History has seen this pattern before.

The monastery preserved the manuscript while kingdoms burned.
The navigator carried the chart while courts argued doctrine.
The engineer carried the method while institutions defended prestige.

Civilisations rarely fail because knowledge disappears.

They fail because the people holding power become structurally incapable of recognising the thing that replaces them.

That is the present condition of AI.

Billions are being poured into systems that predict convincingly, wrapped in corporate authority, benchmark theatre and probabilistic confidence.

ECAI starts somewhere colder:

A claim does not become true because a machine produced it.

No amount of scale changes that.
No valuation changes that.
No title changes that.
No consensus changes that.

The invariant holds or the claim dies.

That principle is older than every AI laboratory alive today.

So I keep walking.

Not carrying a trend.

Carrying a method through an age that has confused computation with cognition, confidence with truth, and capital allocation with technological inevitability.

Empires have made that mistake before.

History remembers the method.

It forgets the committee.
